[CBC뉴스] 맨체스터 시티의 스트라이커 가브리엘 제수스와 수비수 카일 워커가 COVID-19 양성반응을 보였다고 맨시티가 금요일(12월 25일) 밝혔다.
다른 두 명의 시 직원들 또한 새로운 코로나 바이러스에 양성 반응을 보였고, 네 명 모두 자가 격리되어 있다.
맨시티는 성명을 통해 “클럽의 모든 사람들은 우리 동료들이 직장, 훈련, 그리고 경쟁으로 돌아오기 전에 크리스마스 기간 동안 빠른 회복을 바랍니다,"라고 말했다.
리그 8위인 맨시티는 12월 26일 뉴캐슬 유나이티드과 월요일에 에버턴전을 앞두고 있다.
Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Kyle Walker have tested positive for COVID-19, the Premier League club said on Friday (December 25).
Two other City staff members have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, and all four are self-isolating.
"Everyone at the club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery over the Christmas period ahead of their return to work, training and competition," City said in a statement.
City, eighth in the league table, host Newcastle United on Saturday (December 26) before visiting Everton on Monday.
