연방, 주 및 지방 법 집행관들은 용의자로 앤서니 Q로 확인했으며 왜 자살 임무를 수행했는지에 대한 구체적인 단서를 밝히지 않은 가운데 도시를 뒤흔든 폭탄 테러의 배후를 찾고 있다.
Nashville police released footage from a closed-circuit camera (CCTV) on Monday (December 28) of the moment a motor home blew up killing the suspected perpetrator and injuring three people in the heart of America's country music capital on Christmas Day.
The footage from a Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) camera at 2nd Ave N & Commerce St. in the city's downtown area shows a police officer in uniform walking away from the scene moments before a huge blast erupts from the parked motor home engulfing most of the street in a fireball then projecting debris across the scene.
Federal, state and local law enforcement officers on Monday were searching for the motive behind a bombing that rocked the city, with no concrete clues yet emerging as to why the 63-year-old suspect carried out his suicide mission.
The FBI on Sunday (December 27) identified the suspect as Anthony Q. Warner and said he died in the blast, which damaged more than 40 businesses in downtown Nashville. Warner's motor home exploded at dawn on Friday (December 25) soon after police, who were responding to reports of gunfire, heard music and an automated message emanating from the vehicle warning of a bomb. Police hurried to evacuate people in the area, and Warner is the only person known to have perished.
David Rausch, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), said on Monday that Warner's mother was cooperating with the multiagency investigation but that motive remained elusive. The TBI released Warner's criminal history, showing a single marijuana charge more than four decades ago.
