Kim Hye-yoon and Ok Taec Yeon have showcased their acting chemistry in the tvN drama 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.'

In this drama, Kim Hye-yoon portrays a rare divorcee in the Joseon Dynasty, while Ok Taec Yeon plays a secret royal inspector dedicated to rooting out corrupt officials. Their comedic historical drama brings a cheerful atmosphere, but it's not just all laughs; it also incorporates bittersweet moments.

Kim Hye-yoon delivers a passionate performance as a woman in an uncommon situation in Joseon society, adding to the intrigue of the storyline with her adventures and mishaps.

Meanwhile, Ok Taec Yeon’s character is an unexpectedly appointed royal inspector, who is actually a highborn man with a handsome appearance. Despite being a level 6 government official, he is a smart yet unambitious man who finds happiness in simple pleasures like eating.

The fact that the secret royal inspector’s subordinate is a divorcee in the Joseon Dynasty sets the stage for various entertaining episodes.

Kim Hye-yoon and Ok Taec Yeon form a secret royal inspector duo, solving numerous cases together. However, their method is more about causing a series of chaotic incidents rather than conventional resolutions.

Meanwhile, both stars are actively competing for the Best Actress and Best Actor awards in the August Netizen Awards.

As of 11:28 AM on the 5th, Kim Hye-yoon is leading the Best Actress category with 7,107 votes. Ok Taec Yeon, at the same time, is ranked 13th in the Best Actor category with 122 votes.

'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy' is currently in 8th place for the Drama Award in the August Netizen Awards with 151 votes.
