[CBC뉴스] 산타와 그의 충성스러운 엘프들 중 한 명이 현지시간 21일 해양 생물들과 팀을 이뤄 플로리다 키 산호초를 따라 해저 유람선을 탔다.

스펜서 슬레이트에 의해 수년간 진행되어온 스쿠버 다이빙을 하는 세인트 니콜라스. 그는 어린이들의 자선단체를 위해 돈을 모으기 위해 그의 순록을 수중 제트스키와 바꿨다고 플로리다 키 뉴스국이 보도했다.

Santa and one of his loyal elves took an undersea cruise on Monday (December 21) along a Florida Keys coral reef teaming with marine life.

The scuba-diving Saint Nicholas, who has been played for many years by Spencer Slate, swapped his reindeer for an underwater jetski, to raise money for children's charities, according to the Florida Keys News Bureau.

Slate, who owns Captain Slate's Scuba Adventures, and his 'Elf', shot along the reef among schools of fish along Key Largo's Pleasure Reef.

The holiday season dive is also intended to raise awareness about the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, which includes the only living coral reef barrier in the United States.

During the dive Slate was photographed by customers as part of his fundraising effort.

The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary protects 2,900 square nautical miles of water around the Keys, according to the organization's web site, and encompasses over 6,000 species of marine life.
