May 10th could easily be dubbed "Day of Dramatic Shifts" in the online community.

In three categories of the May Netizen Awards, the top spot were exchanged, a rare occurrence where the top spot in each of the three categories changed almost simultaneously.

On the 10th, the winners in the categories of Best Actor, Best Actress, and Drama Award were replaced. What's notable about this shift is that the defending champions were ousted to make way for the new winners.

In the Best Actor category, Kim Soo-hyun, known for his role in "Queen of Tears," claimed the top spot on the 10th, garnering 8,311 votes as of 12:03 a.m. on the 11th. Second place went to Nine, another actor.

There was also a major upset in the Best Actress category. Kim Ji-won dethroned the defending champion, Lee Si-young, to take the top spot. Kim Ji-won, who starred alongside Kim Soo-hyun in "Queen of Tears," has proven her popularity, with her surge in votes attributed to the support of international fans.

The unexpected rise of Kim Ji-won highlights the global nature of her fandom, warranting attention.

The drama award category also saw a correlation with the advancements of these two actors. TVN's "Queen of Tears" surpassed MBC's "The Story Of Park's Marriage Contract" to claim the top spot. Interestingly, both the Best Actor and Best Actress winners, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, respectively, starred in "Queen of Tears."
