[김현진 기자] 변우석이 tvN '손해 보기 싫어서'에 전격 출연해 관심을 증폭시키고 있다. 변우석은 선재 업고 튀어 이후 출연하는 첫 작품이다.
4화에 출연한 변우석은 편의점 알바이다. 여자 주인공인 신민아가 업드려서 일하고 있는 장면에서 인디언 밥이라고 팔뒤꿈치로 장난을 치는 대상으로 나온다.
사실 신민아는 변우석을 자신이 아는 지인으로 착각한 것이다. 변우석에 앞서 근무한 사람이 신민아의 지인이기 때문에 벌어진 해프닝이다. 신민아의 장난에 변우석은 또 이렇시네하면서 잘못을 지적한다.
변우석은 신민아를 향해서 저번 알바도 이렇게 괴롭혀서 그만두신거죠라고 말한다. 변우석은 사실 신민아 지인 대신 뽑혔다면서 그만뒀을 것이라고 말해준다.
지인이 뭐라도 남겼을까봐 잔뜩 기대를 하고 변우석에게 말하지만 변우석은 택배를 가져가라고 차갑게 말한다.
신민아는 변우석의 외모를 보면서 편의점 팀장님이 미감이 좋으시네요라고 혼잣말을 하기도 한다.
신민아가 담배를 주문하자 변우석은 "폐암으로 드릴까요 뇌졸중으로 드릴까요"라고 신민아한테 묻는다. 변우석은 짧은 출연이지만 강렬한 인상을 줬다. 신드롬 연기의 강력한 회오리를 보여줬다.
한편 변우석은 9월 네티즌 어워즈 남자연기상에서도 최고의 인기를 보여주고 있다. 4일 오전 9시 32분 현재 2712득표로 남자연기상 1위에 올라 있다.

In episode 4, Byeon Woo-seok plays a convenience store part-timer. In a scene where the female lead, played by Shin Min-ah, is bent over working, Byeon appears and teasingly gives her an "Indian burn" with his elbow.
The twist is that Shin Min-ah mistakes Byeon Woo-seok for someone she knows. The mix-up occurs because the person working before Byeon was an acquaintance of Shin Min-ah. When Byeon corrects her, saying, "You're doing this again, aren't you?" he implies she’s been mischievous before.
Byeon humorously confronts her, saying, "Did the last part-timer quit because you bullied them like this too?" He then reveals that he was hired as a replacement for her acquaintance, who likely quit.
Despite Shin Min-ah’s hopes that her acquaintance left something behind, Byeon coldly responds, telling her to just pick up the package they left.
Noticing Byeon's appearance, Shin Min-ah mutters to herself, "The team leader has a good eye for looks."
Meanwhile, Byeon Woo-seok is enjoying immense popularity, currently leading the Best Actor category at the Netizen Awards for September. As of 9:32 AM on the 4th, he holds the top spot with 2,712 votes.
