[CBC뉴스] 가수 효린이 대만을 대표하는 연간행사인 'Taipei New Year's Eve Party'에 참석차 30일 오전 출국했다.

효린은 오는 31일 타이베이 시청 앞 광장에서 개최되는 새해 카운트다운 행사 ‘Taipei New Year‘s Eve Party 2023’ 헤드라이너로 무대에 올라 이날 행사의 클라이맥스를 장식할 예정이다.

‘Taipei New Year’s Eve Party’는 타이베이시에서 개최되는 대만을 대표하는 연간행사 중 하나로, 글로벌 생중계된다. 지난해에만 현장에 11만 명이 운집한 가운데, 올해에는 타이베이 101 타워에서 5분 동안 1만 6000개의 불꽃을 터트리는 불꽃놀이도 펼쳐질 예정이다.

‘Taipei New Year‘s Eve Party 2023’은 지금까지 ‘대만의 비틀스’라 불리는 Mayday 오월천, 판웨이보 등 대만의 유명 아티스트들부터 비, 슈퍼주니어 D&E, EXID 등 한국의 유명 아티스트들까지 대거 참여했었다.

효린은 이날 헤드라이너로서 행사의 클라이맥스무대에 오르며 K팝 아티스트로서 위상을 펼친다.

현지 매체들은 “ '한국의 비욘세’라는 별명을 가진 효린이 대만을 대표하는 행사의 클라이맥스를 장식한다” 며 대서 특필했다. 이에 효린은 29일 소속사 브리지를 통해 “이렇게 의미 있고 큰 축제에 초대되어 너무 감사하다”, “모두 함께 즐길 수 있는 멋진 무대를 준비하고 있다”라고 밝혀 이날 행사에 대한 기대치를 높였다.

효린은 지난 11월 12일(현지시각) 대만 단독 콘서트 ‘HYOLYN 2022 WORLD TOUR ‘iCE’ in TAIPEI’를 성공적으로 마무리하며 당시 현지 팬들의 큰 사랑을 받았은 바 있다. 과연 이번 ‘Taipei New Year‘s Eve Party 2023’에서는 또 어떤 무대로 현지 팬들을 매료시킬지 귀추가 주목되고 있다.

Hyolyn expressed her gratitude through her agency, Bridge, saying "I am so grateful to be invited to such a meaningful and big event," and "I am preparing a great stage where everyone can enjoy together."

Hyolyn, who is nicknamed "Korea's Beyonce," is expected to perform as the headliner of the "Taipei New Year's Eve Party 2023," which is one of the annual events representing Taiwan. Local media have reported that Hyolyn will "decorate the climax stage of the event," and the singer expressed gratitude through her agency, Bridge, saying, "I am very grateful to be invited to such a meaningful and big festival," and added that she is preparing "a great stage that everyone can enjoy together."
